    Warsaw Procurement Forum (WPF 2019) is one of the key components of the Warsaw Humanitarian EXPO 2019 (WHE), to be held on 12-13 June 2019, Warsaw.

    The other components are: International fair and the Conference entitled  - Responsible Business for Humanitarian Emergencies.


    The President of Poland H.E. Andrzej Duda lent the high patronage to the event.  


    Warsaw Procurement Forum is open to all participants: companies and public administration officials.


    Representatives of major UN agencies and programs, EU and NGOs, all involved in humanitarian actions will be speakers at the event.


    In particular: representatives of the United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), World Health Organization (WHO), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO); World Food Programme (WFP), United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA); the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)  and many others will be present.


    Goals of the FORUM:


    • Understanding the market represented by the UN organizations, the EU and key global NGOs  active in humanitarian and development sectors;.
    • Learning about procedures of how to deal with those institutions if you want to sell them your products and services;
    • Meeting representatives of companies who successfully placed their product on that market;
    • Studying best practices.
    • Listening to successes and failures, companies encountered while working with international institutions.
    • Meeting in direct representatives of international institutions responsible for the procurement services;
    • When participating in the fair having possibility to present your products and services to those who are responsible for purchasing them in the international institutions. ;


    Examples of the thematic sessions during the  FORUM:


    • Overview of the United Nations procurement system and other international organisations (ICRC, EU);
    • Food and agri tenders
    • Workshops on how to participate in IT and cybersecurity projects.
    • Medical equipment and pharmaceutical supplies;
    • Projects involving construction, engineering as well as waste and environmental management.    
    • Overview of the EU procurement scheme (in humanitarian and development areas) Live vendor registration – United Nations Global Marketplace;
